Situation analysis and outlook of various funding strategies in Baden-Wuerttemberg.

The focus of the funding activity of the MFG Filmförderung Baden-Württemberg lies on the animation sector and the VFX industry (visual effects).

In order to analyse the current situation as well as the upcoming development opportunities of the VFX and animation film market segment in Baden-Württemberg, in May 2011 the MFG Filmförderung Baden-Wuerttemberg engaged Goldmedia to do a study on this matter. The aim was furthermore to describe appropriate supporting scenarios and to illustrate concrete recommendations for action in order to enable successful funding of the VFX/animation film industry in Baden-Wuerttemberg.
