Asignment of the Goldmedia-Award for graduation thesis

Assignment of the Goldmedia-Award 2018 for graduation thesis in the field of media economics

In March 2019 the Research and Consultancy groups of Goldmedia (www.Goldmedia.com) have assigned for the third time the award for innovative graduation thesis in the area of media economics. The award was endowed with 1500 Euro and distributed among three graduates: the awarded theses belong to Dr. Stefanie Müller (Technische Universität Chemnitz) on the subject of classification and automated detection of visual distortions in digitized analog video material, Robin Janzik (Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster) about target media vs. mass media and Janice Butler (Universität Freiburg, CH) about opinion leadershop on Twitter.

The assessment of the graduation thesis was exciting and the decision for the winners was challenging due to the high number of good and relevant works concerning the very latest topics. For this reason, in addition to the first three dissertations we awarded, once again, other works with a certificate.
