Goldmedia sets up Goldmedia-Holding

The Berlin-based media consultancy GOLDMEDIA has founded GOLDMEDIA-Holding to expand even further. ( The new holding company is the umbrella for all activities of the different Goldmedia companies and for current and prospective shareholdings. For more than ten years, Goldmedia has provided national and international clients with high quality consulting and research services in the fields of media, entertainment and telecommunications.

Today, Goldmedia-Holding GmbH consists of Goldmedia GmbH Media Consulting & Research, Goldmedia Sales & Services GmbH, Goldmedia Custom Research GmbH and shareholdings of blätterwald gmbh. (

“We have founded the new holding for strategic reasons", says Dr. Klaus Goldhammer, managing director of Goldmedia-Holding. “On the one hand, we want to synergize activities but on the other hand, we want to expand by taking shares in other companies.” One example is blätterwald gmbH, a start-up company in Berlin, which specializes in analyzing media coverage of business.

The history of Goldmedia GmbH began in 1998 with Dr. Klaus Goldhammer as the first founder of the company branch Goldmedia GmbH Media Consulting & Research. The organization offers in-depth analyses of markets and corresponding competitors, creates forecasts and provides strategic consulting services. In 2004, Goldmedia Sales & Services GmbH was established to support media companies by analyzing their complex sales processes and developing marketing and distribution concepts. The third company of the group, Goldmedia Custom Research GmbH (founded in 2007), combines the wide spectrum of expertise in the field of usability research as well as market and opinion research. Goldmedia-Holding’s head office is in Berlin, Germany. Other departments of Goldmedia are situated around Germany in Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich and Dusseldorf. Dr. Klaus Goldhammer, the founder of Goldmedia, is also the managing director of the new holding. The operational business remains in the hands of individual companies.
