Usability tests for the mobile use of a radio station
The introduction of new ways of transmission poses great challenges for radio stations: is the new service accepted, can it be improved and what are underlying usage patterns? Goldmedia conducted a research looking at all important aspects of the mobile use of an established radio station in Germany and gave advice on the further use of technology and content.
Task: Usability test of the mobile application of a youth radio station with meta-content via UMTS. Evaluation of a six month trail on the use, acceptance and usability among youths and young adults. Period of research: from 2007 until 2008.
