Monitoring of the federal government’s broadband strategy
On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure Goldmedia was monitoring the implementation of the federal government’s broadband strategy for the years 2012 to 2014. The current strategy focuses on the goal of connecting 75 per cent of all households with internet access with a transmission rate of at least 50 Mbps until end of 2014.
To document the already implemented actions in matter of broadband and especially NGA deployment and to identify further steps and recent need for action, the federal governmen once a year commissions this monitoring report.
